West End Workout® needs to grow to meet demand, but finding the right people to join our teaching team is tricky. We're protective of our brand and ethos because it's extremely unique and making a huge impact. One of the reasons for our success is the quality of our teachers - trustworthy, relatable, committed, experienced, hardworking people with rambunctious gravitas, who have a nurturing spirit and a passion for making a difference where it's needed. This role is more than a dance teacher job, it's about creating magic, re-igniting lost dreams, offering a lifeline and spreading whole-hearted love and joy.

This role would best suit ex-performers looking for a part-time income and a way to keep their passion alive and put their experience to good use.

​

The role will involve some initial training and guidance before taking on the delivery of new or existing classes. As demand increases, our classes will be expanding to various new locations, so we are keen to hear from teachers located across all parts of London, Surrey and UK wide.

Candidates must have:

​

• Professional training in Musical Theatre to a degree level, from a recognised vocational college

• Experience in working professionally within the Musical Theatre industry

• 5+ years experience teaching a range of styles, ages and abilities (but must be comfortable with beginner/general level adults)

• Long-term availability and commitment (no longer with an agent or seeking performing work)

Pay: £50 per class (starting rate)

Initially we offer purely teaching roles, giving you a chance to understand how we work and learn how classes are delivered. However, in time there will be future opportunities to take on further responsibilities and more integrated roles for increased pay, including…

• Location management (taking responsibility for numerous classes in a select area)

• Admin, advertising and customer management

• Event management and hosting

• Developing new content, ideas and associated projects
